Description :Insulin Chicago is a recombinant human insulin produced in E. coli. It is an insulin analog that has improved pharmacokinetic properties and a more rapid onset of action after subcutaneous injection, with a duration of activity approximately twice as long as regular insulin. Insulin Chicago has been shown to be effective in reducing the incidence of hypoglycemia in type 1 diabetes mellitus patients, especially when used in combination with sulfonylureas or metformin. This product can also be used as a research tool for the study of protein interactions, peptides, and antibodies. Insulin Chicago has high purity and is supplied in vials containing 100 units/mL or 500 units/mL.
