Description :
Pteridine is a model system for the study of leishmania and the enzyme activities that are involved in this organism's life cycle. Pteridines are found in plants and fungi and have been shown to inhibit the activity of hl-60 cells. Pteridine has also been shown to affect mitochondrial membrane potential, which can lead to bowel disease. Inhibitors of pteridine, dinucleotide phosphate, or receptor activity have been shown to be effective against infectious diseases. Pteridine has also been shown to influence matrix effect and biochemical properties.
