Description

3-Amino-4-methoxybenzenesulfonic acid (AMBS) is a polymerization agent that has been used in the production of polymeric materials. The 3-amino group participates in the dehydrogenation reaction with 2-naphthol-6,8-disulfonic acid to form a helical structure. This reaction occurs at neutral pH and is catalyzed by an enzyme. AMBS is soluble in water and can be used as a matrix for electrochemical experiments.

AMBS has been shown to be an efficient polymerization agent for the synthesis of polymeric materials with good mechanical properties. It is soluble in water and can act as a matrix for electrochemical experiments.
