Description

Phenylacetaldehyde Dimethyl Acetal is a colorless liquid that can be used as an optical sensor for hydroxyl groups. This compound has been shown to be a potent antioxidant and also has the ability to reduce oxidative injury in cells. Phenylacetaldehyde Dimethyl Acetal is extracted from acetate, which is a fatty acid found in plants and animals. It can also be synthesized by reacting phenol with formaldehyde. This product has been shown to have medicinal properties and may be used to treat degenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and Huntington's disease.
