Description :4-(Cyclohexyloxy)benzoic acid is a cyclic compound that has been shown to have anticancer and anti-inflammatory properties. It can be found in the leaves of plants such as Salix alba, or it can be synthesized from propanamide. The structural formula of 4-(cyclohexyloxy)benzoic acid is C10H14O4. 4-(Cyclohexyloxy)benzoic acid has been shown to possess pharmacological properties, including analgesia, anti-inflammatory activity, inhibition of tumor growth and metastasis, and inhibition of prostate cancer. These effects are attributed to its ability to inhibit the production of prostaglandins by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes.
