Description :
1,4-Cyclohexanedione Bis(ethyleneketal) is an organic compound that can be used as a monomer in the synthesis of polyesters. It is a high-melting crystalline solid with a transition temperature of 155°C. 1,4-Cyclohexanedione Bis(ethyleneketal) is used to introduce acetone into polyesters and other polymers. The 13C-NMR spectroscopy of 1,4-cyclohexanedione Bis(ethyleneketal) shows two signals at δ=176.5 ppm and δ=167.1 ppm due to the carbonyl group and one signal at δ=134.9 ppm due to the ethylenic double bond.
