Informations sur le produit
5-Fluoropyridine-3-carbonyl chloride is an oxychloride that is used in the synthesis of other drugs. It is prepared by reacting phosphorus oxychloride with a mixture of lithium chloride and phosphoryl chloride. The reaction yields 5-fluoropyridine-3-carbonyl chloride and lithium chloride as byproducts. The hydrolysis of 5-fluoropyridine-3-carbonyl chloride can be carried out using acid esters such as ethyl acetate or methyl acetate, yielding 3,5,6,7,8,9,10-hexahydro-1H-[1]benzofuran (hydrochloride) and chloroform as products.
