3'-(Trifluoromethyl)acetanilide is a reactive molecule that binds to the active site of the enzyme, thus inhibiting its activity. This inhibitor has been shown to reduce the production of cyclic AMP in rat liver microsomes. 3'-(Trifluoromethyl)acetanilide binds to the active site of the enzyme, which prevents it from performing its function. The compound is a bioavailable inhibitor and has been shown to inhibit depressants such as alcohol. 3'-(Trifluoromethyl)acetanilide also has homologous properties with compounds like anhydrous sodium carbonate and constant boiling point with flt3-itd. It also has an anti-cancer effect on xenograft tumor cells in mice. The trifluoromethyl group on this molecule may confer some toxicity on this molecule, but no adverse effects have been observed in humans or animals at therapeutic doses
