- Cadmium carbonate (CdCO3)
Cadmium carbonate is a chemical compound that contains cadmium and carbonate. It has an amorphous structure and is insoluble in water. It has shown to have low chemical stability, with the ability to react with sodium carbonate or sodium succinate at dry weight. Cadmium carbonate is used as a surfactant in low-energy electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) tests. The activation energies for the reaction are 4.6 eV for the first step and 3.4 eV for the second step.
