Description

Heliotridin is a natural product that belongs to the class of phytochemicals. It is a secondary metabolite that was isolated from the leaves and stems of Heliotropium indicum. Heliotridin has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects, as well as activity against cancer cells, although it is not yet clear what mechanism is responsible for these effects. The chemical structure of heliotridin has been determined by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and mass spectrometry.
