Description :Allomatrine is a chemical compound extracted from the fungi Ganoderma lucidum and Glycyrrhiza uralensis. It has been found to have κ-opioid receptor agonist activity, which may be responsible for its anti-inflammatory effects. Allomatrine has also been shown to reduce the activity of an electric actuator in mice, which may be related to its ability to inhibit pain.
