Informations sur le produit
- Benzene, 1,2,4-triethyl-
1,2,4-Triethylbenzene is a systemic toxicant that is widely used in animal studies. It has been shown to have a neurotoxic effect on the central nervous system and peripheral nerves. The neurotoxicity of 1,2,4-triethylbenzene may be due to its ability to interfere with the synthesis of lysine residues and aromatic hydrocarbons. These effects are observed at doses as low as 0.1 mg/kg/day when administered orally or by injection. The potential for adverse effects in humans is unknown because there are no documented cases of human exposure to this chemical.
