Moxisylyte hydrochloride is a cholinergic drug that is used to treat symptoms associated with autoimmune diseases and microbial infections. It is also used as a pharmacological treatment for the control of constant pressure in patients with glaucoma. Moxisylyte hydrochloride has been shown to inhibit the 2-adrenergic receptor, which is thought to be involved in the pathogenesis of allergic reactions and other inflammatory conditions. Moxisylyte hydrochloride has been shown to have a high affinity for bacterial cells and can be used to treat microbial infections such as infectious diseases.
Moxisylyte hydrochloride is metabolized by cytochrome P450 enzymes in the liver and excreted through the kidneys.
