Description :
PRE-084 hydrochloride is a drug that inhibits the activity of the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor. It has been shown to have neuroprotective effects, such as preventing neuronal death. PRE-084 hydrochloride also shows anti-inflammatory properties and has been shown to be effective in treating chronic cough, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the release of pro-apoptotic protein from immune cells. However, it does not show any significant potency against acute toxicities such as seizures or convulsions.
