Description

Erythromycylamine is a drug that inhibits the production of colony-stimulating factor and other cytokines. It has been used in pharmacological studies to study the effects of erythromycylamine on human myeloid cells. Erythromycylamine has shown inhibitory properties against Streptococcus pyogenes and Staphylococcus aureus, and is used as an adjuvant drug for the treatment of streptococcal pharyngitis.
Erythromycylamine has been shown to have pharmacokinetic properties in humans, with a half-life of 3 hours and an apparent volume of distribution of 0.2 L/kg. It also has a redox potential that is less than -150 mV. This drug can be detected in human serum using liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) analysis, which may be useful for monitoring erythromycylam
