Informations sur le produit
2-Chloro-5-methoxy-4-nitrophenol (2CMN) is a small molecule that inhibits the inflammatory cytokine Interleukin 6 in tumor cells. It has shown to modulate the tumor microenvironment by inhibiting macrophages, which are cells that play an important role in tumor growth. 2CMN has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in vivo and reduce the number of tumors, as well as improve survival rates when given orally. The mechanism of action of 2CMN is via inhibition of the cytokine csf1r, which controls chemokine production. This drug also has dose-dependent effects on tumor growth inhibition and phenotype.
