Informations sur le produit
- 3-Cq-8-Ca
- 8-Quinolinecarboxylic acid, 3-chloro-
3-Chloroquinoline-8-carboxylic acid is a catalyst that is used in organic synthesis. It has been shown to be a borohydride reductase, which catalyzes the reaction: BH3 + BH2 → BH4 + H2 3-chloroquinoline-8-carboxylic acid can also be used as a stabilizer in kinetic studies. In these studies, 3CQCA is often used to increase the rate of a reaction because it enhances the reactivity of the metal atom or ion. The reason for this enhancement is not yet known, but it may be due to its ability to bind to metal ions and stabilize them. 3CQCA can also function as a nanocatalyst because of its small size and catalytic properties. It has been shown that 3CQCA has an average particle diameter of about 12 nm and an efficiency of around 2%.
