Description

(R)-1-((S)-2-amino-3-methylbutanoyl)pyrrolidin-2-yl)boronic acid (1:1) is a clinical candidate for the treatment of prostate cancer and other cancers. It is an inhibitor drug that blocks the enzyme caspase 1, which is responsible for activating the inflammatory response. It has also been shown to inhibit serine proteases, which are enzymes that break down proteins in the body. Sorafenib is an inhibitor drug that blocks the enzyme dpp-iv and has been shown to be effective against metastatic colorectal cancer.
