Description :
N,N'-Di-(2-bromophenyl)urea is a heterocyclic compound that is used as an intermediate in the production of other chemicals. The molecule adopts a planar structure with two identical halves. The molecules are arranged in a head-to-tail fashion and interact through hydrogen bonding. It has been shown that the intermolecular interactions between these molecules can be disrupted by x-rays, which causes the molecule to break apart into two separate parts.
