Informations sur le produit
2,3-Dihydro-1H-indole-4-carboxylic acid is a peptidomimetic that inhibits the function of proapoptotic proteins. It is a prodrug that is converted to 2,3-dihydro-1H-indole-4-carboxylic acid phosphate (2,3DICP), an analog of phosphoramidate. The drug target for this peptidomimetic is the cellular protein that binds to the amino terminus of proapoptotic proteins. This binding prevents the formation of an inhibitor complex with the enzyme cell wall synthesis that is required for cell wall biosynthesis, inhibiting protein synthesis and cell division. 2,3DICP has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in animal models by inducing apoptosis through a variety of mechanisms.
