Description

Validoxylamine A is a synthetic compound that has been shown to have antibacterial and antiviral properties. It has been shown to be effective against bacteria and fungi, including Candida albicans. Validoxylamine A is also a potent inhibitor of HIV-1 reverse transcriptase activity, which may be due to its ability to inhibit DNA synthesis by binding to the enzyme's active site. This agent is not toxic in mammals when used at therapeutic doses.
