Description

N'-Formylkynurenine is a molecule that has been shown to be a potential biomarker for oxidative stress. It is also used in the study of picolinic acid, which is an intermediate in energy metabolism. The reactive properties of N'-formylkynurenine make it a potential small-molecule drug. This compound has been shown to bind to terminal residues of DNA and RNA, and can be used as an anti-infective agent against infectious diseases such as tuberculosis. N'-formylkynurenine also has antioxidative properties and can be used in molecular docking analysis when combined with other compounds.
