• Description: Dichloro(diethylamino)phosphine is a ligand that binds to metal ions. Dichloro(diethylamino)phosphine coordinates to the metal ion via nitrogen atoms and forms an octahedral complex. This compound has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of phosphite-dependent reactions, such as hydrolysis of phosphite esters and reactions between phosphate esters and aldehydes, in organic solvents. Dichloro(diethylamino)phosphine also inhibits inflammatory diseases by inhibiting the production of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2).
