Description :
Tridecyl acetate is a pheromone that belongs to the group of fatty acids. It is found in the body of many animals, including humans. Tridecyl acetate has been shown to be an effective dose for receptor cells in Sprague-Dawley rats. This chemical is a glycol ether and an ester. It has also been shown to stimulate growth of rat epithelial cell cultures when used as a control agent at doses of 50 µg/mL. Tridecyl acetate has been shown to have no significant effect on calcium stearate or other control agents, with the exception of glycol ethers which it inhibits.
