Description :
1-(3,5-Dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)ethanone is a carbonyl compound that is a key intermediate in the synthesis of other organic compounds. It can be synthesized by reacting sodamide with phosphorus pentachloride. 1-(3,5-Dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)ethanone reacts with hydrogen chloride to form an acid chloride or with thiosemicarbazide to form a chlorocarbonyl compound. This chemical has been shown to react at high temperatures, although it does not react at room temperature.
