4-Hydroxy triamterene sulfate-d4, sodium is a radiolabeled compound that can be used as a marker for plasma concentration and renal clearance. It is chemically reactive and degradable and has an inhibitory effect on the synthesis of prostaglandin. 4-Hydroxy triamterene sulfate-d4, sodium is used in clinical trials for heart disease and hypertension. The terminal half-life of this drug is about 5 hours.
