Tripropyl benzene-1,2,4-tricarboxylate (TPP) is a cross-linking agent that stabilizes polyvinyl chloride, polyester, and other esters. TPP is also used as a stabilizer for acrylonitrile copolymers and thermoplastics. TPP has been shown to be heat resistant at temperatures up to 160°C for up to 1 hour. It has been used as a stabilizer in the manufacture of polyvinyl chloride, polyester, and other esters. TPP is an inorganic compound with low molecular weight that can be readily esterified with monomers such as acrylonitrile or styrene.
