Description :
2-Bromo-4,6-dinitroaniline is a chemical compound that is used for the production of dyes and pesticides. It is also an intermediate in the Friedel-Crafts reaction, which converts benzene to nitrobenzene. 2-Bromo-4,6-dinitroaniline reacts with hydrochloric acid to produce bromobenzene, water, and nitrous gas. The structural formula of this chemical compound is shown below. This compound has been shown to be toxic to humans following long term exposure.
