This active form binds to amines, which are important for inflammatory processes, and prevents the prostaglandins from being synthesized. 1-(Naphthalen-1-yl)ethanone oxime has also been shown to have a film-forming polymer property and can be used as a film-forming agent for fabricating films with different properties.
