1-(Naphthalen-1-yl)ethanone oxime is a hydrogen bond donor that has been used in the treatment of inflammatory skin diseases. It is an active substance that has been shown to be effective against inflammatory skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and erythema multiforme. 1-(Naphthalen-1-yl)ethanone oxime is a synthetic compound that can be activated by light or heat. This active form binds to amines, which are important for inflammatory processes, and prevents the prostaglandins from being synthesized. 1-(Naphthalen-1-yl)ethanone oxime has also been shown to have a film-forming polymer property and can be used as a film-forming agent for fabricating films with different properties.
