Description :
MC2050 is a cell-permeable non-peptide inhibitor of the angiotensin II type 1 receptor. It has been shown to inhibit the binding of peptides, such as angiotensin II and bradykinin, to their cognate receptor. MC2050 also inhibits ligand-induced activation of ion channels and blocks the binding of antagonists, such as losartan and candesartan, to the AT1 receptor.
