Description

(S)-isopropyl 2-amino-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)propanoate is a molecule that contains an ester hydrochloride, hydroxyl group, and a monoclonal antibody. It has been shown to bind to the bowel disease marker CD57 on the surface of B cells, which may be due to its ability to react with hydrogen bonds. This molecule also has anti-inflammatory properties. (S)-Isopropyl 2-amino-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)propanoate has been shown to inhibit the inflammatory response by inhibiting cyclooxygenase enzymes and blocking the synthesis of prostaglandins.
