Description

Borapetoside F is a natural product that exhibits potentiodynamic polarization and has been shown to modulate the immune system. It is a component of dietary supplements, which are marketed for their potential to regulate the immune system by stimulating macrophages and lymphocytes. Borapetoside F is also a component of a range of replicates, which are used in scientific research to study the effects of dietary compounds on cells in culture. These replicates have been used in cytotoxicity assays, where the effect on cell viability was determined using microscopy and assays. Borapetoside F has immunomodulatory effects, which were assessed using morphological examination of cells and an acute toxicity study. This compound was found to be non-toxic in mice with an LD50 (dose lethal to 50% of animals) greater than 2000mg/kg body weight after 28 days of exposure.
