Description

Boc-Cys(MBzl)-OH is a peptide that inhibits cellular protein interactions. It is an inhibitor of the enzyme acetylcholinesterase and prevents the breakdown of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Boc-Cys(MBzl)-OH also has been shown to be an activator of the Ligand-gated ion channels, which are involved in regulating neuronal activity. This peptide can be used as a research tool for studying ion channels and their receptors.
