Description

Memantine is an NMDA receptor antagonist that is an effective therapeutic agent for Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. This drug inhibits the NDMA receptor preventing glutamate from carrying out its function thus helping with the symptoms associated with Alzheimer’s.
