Description :
MLN-3897 is a new small molecule that has potent inhibitory activity against chemokine receptors. MLN-3897 blocks chemotaxis of immune cells and viral replication, and is therefore a potential treatment for autoimmune diseases and other inflammatory diseases. It also inhibits the expression of surface proteins on activated T cells, which may be due to its ability to block leukotriene receptor antagonist activity. This drug is currently in preclinical development, but could potentially be deployed as an anti-inflammatory agent in the future.
