Description :
1,3-Dimethoxyimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide is a solvation agent that is used in ionic liquids. It is an ionic liquid with high dielectric constant and solvent power, which can be used as a non-volatile solvent. The thermodynamic properties of this compound have been studied experimentally and the activity coefficients were calculated using the Debye-Hückel equation. The osmotic pressure depression was also investigated at various temperatures. 1,3-Dimethoxyimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide has been shown to be an excellent solvent for gas chromatography parameters for analyzing liquids.
