Informations sur le produit
Sephin1 is a molecule that has been shown to inhibit the activity of acidic phosphatases. This inhibition leads to an increase in cytosolic Ca2+ levels, which can lead to neuronal death. Sephin1 also inhibits the activation of excitatory amino acid receptors and phospholipases. It is a test compound that may be useful for inhibiting protein synthesis in cells and preventing cell death by excitotoxicity or oxidative stress. Sephin1 also inhibits the activity of regulatory enzymes involved in the dephosphorylation of proteins, such as protein phosphatase 2A, which is activated by calcium-dependent cytoplasmic kinases.
