(S)-4-Methyl-5-((2-methyl-1,4-diazepan-1-yl)sulfonyl)isoquinoline is a microbial infection inhibitor. It is a receptor binding agent that prevents the Jak2 v617f protein from transferring to the nucleus and inhibiting myeloid differentiation. This compound has been shown to have an effect on cancer cell viability, neutralizing the effects of monoclonal antibodies and inhibiting axonal growth in vitro. The compound also has anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit methyltransferase enzymes.
