Description :VUF 10166 is a selective 5-HT3 receptor antagonist that has been shown to be effective in animal models for the treatment of nausea and vomiting. VUF 10166 binds to the 5-HT3 receptors in the gastrointestinal tract and blocks the activation of these receptors, which are involved in regulating nausea and vomiting. In animal models, VUF 10166 has been shown to have a superior affinity for 5-HT3 receptors, as well as a better selectivity profile than other antagonists currently on the market.
