• Description: 6H-Benzo[c]chromen-6-one is an aryl halide. It has been shown to have anticancer activity against cervical cancer cell lines. 6H-Benzo[c]chromen-6-one binds to the CB2 cannabinoid receptor and inhibits tumor growth by inducing apoptosis in cancer cells. The mechanism of action may be due to its ability to inhibit the intracellular calcium release, thereby inhibiting proliferation of tumor cells.
