Description :
2,3-Dichloronaphthalene is a molecule that has shown to be an effective inhibitor of topoisomerases. It binds to the enzyme target and prevents the DNA from being unwound. This compound also induces cancer in animals and has been shown to have a deforming effect on cells. 2,3-Dichloronaphthalene is insoluble in water and can be used for a number of different experiments. It has also been shown to have anti-cancer activity both invitro and in vivo. 2,3-Dichloronaphthalene is most commonly used as an advanced chemical reagent for cancer research.
