Description :
Didodecyl sulfoxide is a sulfur-containing compound that can be used as an effective drug. It is a molecule with a dicarboxylic acid and an aromatic amine functional group. Didodecyl sulfoxide has been shown to have an antioxidative effect, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of reactive oxygen species and reactive nitrogen species in cells. This drug has also been shown to have a protective effect against ischemia-induced cell death in the thp-1 cell line.
