Description

Pentyl Valerate is a fatty acid that is found in many natural oils and fats. It has been shown to be an interactive compound, with a number of effects on other chemicals. Pentyl Valerate has a hydroxyl group, which can form a hydrogen bond with the surface of another molecule. The chemical structure of Pentyl Valrate consists of two methyl groups attached to an anthranilic acid molecule. This chemical can also be used as a film-forming polymer or glycol ether, and has been suggested as biofuel for use in the production of supercritical carbon dioxide or hydrogen fluoride.
