Description

Indicaxanthin is a natural pigment that has been found to possess potent anticancer properties. It is an analog of oseltamivir, a drug used to treat influenza by inhibiting the neuraminidase enzyme. Indicaxanthin has been shown to inhibit the activity of kinases, which are enzymes involved in cell signaling pathways that regulate cell growth and proliferation. This inhibition leads to apoptosis (programmed cell death) in cancer cells. Studies have demonstrated that indicaxanthin has anticancer effects against various types of cancer, including breast, colon, and prostate cancer. Additionally, it has been detected in human urine following ingestion of foods containing this pigment, suggesting that it may have potential as a dietary supplement for cancer prevention and treatment.
