Description :
Isoallolithocholic acid is a bile acid found in the human intestine. It has been shown to inhibit bacterial growth by binding to the receptor for taurocholic acid, which is a bile acid that is necessary for the survival of certain bacteria. Isoallolithocholic acid has also been shown to increase deuterium incorporation into bile acids, which may be due to its ability to regulate the expression of genes involved in amine synthesis.
