Description

Covid-19 is an anti-infective agent that inhibits the growth of bacteria. It is a small molecule with a molecular weight of 190.3 that has been shown to have broad spectrum antibacterial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Covid-19 was developed as a therapeutic agent for the treatment of pandemic influenza and has been found to inhibit the flu virus by interfering with its ability to access ribosomes in the host cell. Covid-19 also appears to be effective against other strains of influenza, such as H5N1, H9N2, and H7N7. Covid-19 is a heterocyclic compound containing a 1-(4-bromophenyl)thiourea moiety, which is connected by resonance to an electron donating group (chlorine). This chemical structure stabilizes covid-19 by forming bonds with both nitrogen atoms and chlorine atoms on either side of the thiourea moiety.
