• Description: Monoelaidin is a monoolein-based biocompatible polymer that can be used as a drug carrier. It has been shown to have a phase transition temperature of about 37°C, which allows it to dissolve in the body at physiological temperature. Monoelaidin adsorbs sodium ions and other cations with high affinity, making it an excellent candidate for ion-exchange applications.
