• Description: Sodium 2-hydroxy-3-methoxypropane-1-sulfonate is a biodegradable polymer that can be used as a thickening agent, emulsifier, or stabilizer. It is synthesized from the reaction of sodium methoxide with 3-hydroxypropane sulfonic acid.
