Ethyl 2-oxotetrahydrofuran-3-carboxylate is an initiator that is used in the polymerization of monomers. It is an initiator that is used to initiate the polymerization of ethylene, propylene, and butene. Ethyl 2-oxotetrahydrofuran-3-carboxylate has a transition temperature of -5°C. It can be used as a substitute for methyl methacrylate and other monomers in the synthesis of adhesives and coatings. This compound is also used as a binder for polyolefins and can be used to increase the heat resistance of these materials. Lastly, it can be used as a component for cyanoacrylate glues and sealants.
